Developed in the late 1920s, the A 1 appears significantly lighter and more elegant than later military models closer to a classic Sports Jacket than the heavy Flight Jackets of the 1940s. For this version, The Real McCoy's uses vegetable tanned sheepskin with an aniline finish. The natural structure of the leather
