Front and back of dress are two separate panels of silk chiffon, embroidered in a window pane pattern with insets of gathered silk chiffon at the sides; edges are neatened and the panels are overcast stitched. V neckline; pleated, short sleeves of silk chiffon are sewn to the lining; attached sash with rolled roses at dropped waist snaps closed at left side.
