Antique Monumental German Carved Oak Baroque Marquetry Dowry Chest Coffer 1723 Drawings & Prints the John EA rare & monumental antique German Baroque early 18th century dowry chest coffer, named & dated 1723. The chest of a rare & unusual size, the top with a lift up lid with hand forged strap hinges. The front of the chest is profusely & sumptuously carved, the chest has four carved panels with the family names; "Adelheit" & "Kosters" and the year "Anno 1723" and the day & month "D7 September". The carved arcaded front with four architectural arches, each
