Bura-Mrgudic 'Basina' Plavac Mali Croatia, 2021 moonshine Damaschino and Inzolia is madeA testament to the traditions of Croatian winemaking, this Plavac Mali (a relative precursor of Zinfandel) is made with extreme care in a limited production of ca. 2000 bottles per year. Delicate tannins and purposeful acid provide a perfect stage for its notes of blueberry, plum, and white pepper. We would recommend pairing this wine with something just as tied to the Adriatic, a simple fried calamari, or a comforting evapi.
