Museum Quality "Venus in her Chariot" Hard Stone Cameo Stuart Crystal tests as 15k gold &DATE: Georgian c. 1750. The finest quality hard stone cameo, hand carved in high relief, depicting Venus in her chariot drawn by Lionesses. A particularly unusual example, the dark oxblood red with mottled grey backdrop is particularly Italian Renaissance in style.
