Just up the road from the famed Bonnezeaux AOC, Benoit farms a 1. 3 hectare parcel of old vine Chenin grown on clay and schist soils. It is delicate, but rich and ripe with delicious fruit, and everlasting complexity. Get it while you can, and pair it with a sweet potato gnocchi with duck ragu.
