Barracuda wasnt just another venue on Austins Red River strip it became one of the defining rooms of a changing music scene. Opened in the former Red 7 space at 611 East 7th Street, Barracuda quickly earned a reputation for loud nights, rising bands, sweaty crowds, and the kind of shows people still talk about years later. For many Austinites, Barrys was more than a club. It
