The colours, Green, White and Violet, are said to have been a hidden expression of allegiance with the Suffragette movement, they spell out, treated acrostically, Give Women Votes. In this case, the stones are peridot (G), pearl (W), and topaz (V), the former two set in three five petal flower clusters, with leaves dangling beneath set with topaz
